Colin is originally from Wathena, Kansas, a small town in northeast Kansas. As a young student-athlete, Colin participated in multiple high school sports but found his initial passion in baseball. After high school, Colin went to Washburn University and was a walk-on participant on the baseball team. After a year at Washburn, Colin's true passion revealed itself: the love of football! His next stop was at Cornell College, where he participated in football and baseball as a student-athlete. Eventually transferring to Missouri Western State University to finish his Physical Education degree, and meeting fellow founder, Cody Simpson. Colin started his young coaching career at Union Star High School, an 8-man football school. Colin started his college coaching career as a student assistant for the Missouri Western State University football team. Since his start at Missouri Western, Colin has coordinated at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (D2) and Graceland University (NAIA). Currently, Colin is the Special Teams Coordinator and Outside Linebackers Coach at Missouri Western State University (D2) in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
Colin resides in St. Joseph, Missouri, with his wife, Kayla, and their daughter, Myer.
Cody is originally from El Dorado Springs, Missouri, a small town in the southwest corner of Missouri. As a young student-athlete, Cody had the opportunity to participate in multiple high school sports and had the most success in football. After he graduated, Cody went on to pursue and obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. There, he met fellow founder and Showcase Director, Colin McQuillan. After earning his degree from MWSU, Cody held multiple teaching positions with the Neosho School District and Rogers Public Schools. While teaching for Rogers Public Schools, he volunteered for on the Middle School Football coaching staff. Cody's most recent experience as the Design Execution Manager for Walmart will assist as SpotTheBall Showcases continues to grow as a small business in the Midwest.
Cody helped found SpotTheBall Showcases on June 29, 2020, and resides in Bella Vista, Arkansas, with his wife, Janna, and three daughters, Quinn, Kate, and Carlee.
Tyler is originally from Mulvane, Kansas, a small town outside of Wichita, Kansas. He started his college career at Independence Community College in 2003 as a quarterback, then transferred to Emporia State University, where he was a member of the football team in 2005 and 2006. Tyler graduated from ESU with a degree in social studies and later earned his master's in higher education administration from Southeast Missouri State University (FCS) in 2011. Since graduating from Emporia State, Tyler has held positions at SE Louisiana (FCS), SE Missouri (FCS), ESU (D2), Delta State (D2), SWOSU (D2), Ottawa (NAIA), and Dodge City CC (JC). Currently, Tyler is the Offensive Coordinator at Reinhardt University (NAIA) in Waleska, Georgia.
Tyler resides in Waleska, Georgia, with his wife, Hunter, their two daughters, Brette Paige and Channing, and their dogs.
Jake is originally from Choctaw, Oklahoma. He is a 2017 graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in Crime and Delinquency Studies. Jake played 38 games on the offensive line and was an Honorable-Mention All Conference performer and assisted the team to a pair of NCAA Division II playoff appearances. He was the Offensive Line coach at SWOSU (D2) from 2019 until 2022, with other stops at Trinity Valley CC (JC) and Northeastern Oklahoma State (D2). Currently, Jake is the Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line coach at Henderson State University (D2) in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Prior to Henderson State, Jake was the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at William Penn University (NAIA) for two seasons.
Jake resides in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with his wife, Brandy, and their daughter, Dawsyn.
